Important - Terms of Service

If your insurance is expiring in the next 24 hours, please call our office as renewals are not processed automatically. If our office is closed, we cannot start or bind coverage until the next business day.

We will need to verify all information with the registered owner by phone or email before proceeding.

Your privacy is very important to us. Janzen Insurance Brokers Ltd. wants to make sure your personal information remains safe and protected. We require your consent for communicating by email and sending/ receiving your personal information, insurance forms, and if applicable banking information by email. It is important that you understand the following conditions:

  • Getting your information by email message may not always be secure. Your email could be broken into and your information could be seen, shared with others, or changed without your permission. We recommend deleting information from your email to reduce the risk to you.
  • Depending on your email provider, information we send to you may be stored outside of Canada.
  • If you delete email messages from Janzen Insurance Brokers Ltd., backup copies could still be on your computer or in cyberspace.
  • After your transaction is processed, you will be sent an email with your policy documents. ICBC requires you to respond to that email and tell us if you have accepted your policy terms. You'll be given options to confirm your acceptance.

Interested in renewing your car insurance online?

You have renewal options.

On ICBC’s online renewal portal, you can renew with the same ICBC insurance coverage you have now, add or remove listed drivers, update your address and change how you use your vehicle within non-commercial classes.

You can only renew online through ICBC if you meet the following criteria. If you do not qualify, please fill out our form to renew with us. We are happy to assist you by phone or email if you have any questions about the process.

Online ICBC renewal criteria:

  • My vehicle is in one name only and is not in a company name or a leased vehicle.
  • My policy is active (not expired), and I am looking to renew my existing license plate.
  • I do not have any outstanding debts with ICBC.
  • There is no change in ownership of my vehicle.
  • I do not need to reduce or remove coverage.
  • I have a BC Services Card app (this is required for security to log in).

If you qualify, follow these quick steps:

  • Click "Get started" below.
  • When prompted with your broker selection, pick “Janzen Insurance”.
  • If Janzen Insurance does not show up under Your Broker History, click “Find another Broker” and search us under postal code V4P 1H7.
